Customize Dark Mode on Any Website With Night Eye
A smarter, more flexible way to make bright websites dark.
Night Eye intelligently converts websites into dark themes while giving you control over brightness, contrast, warmth, scheduling and settings for individual websites.
Available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Opera and other major browsers.

Smart Dark Mode for Any Website
More than simple color inversion
Night Eye analyzes a website’s colors, backgrounds, text, images and interface elements in real time. It then converts them into a balanced dark theme while preserving readability and the website’s original design.
Unlike basic color inversion, Night Eye processes page elements individually. This helps preserve photographs, maintain readable contrast and prevent unnatural color combinations.
- Real-time dark mode conversion
- Intelligent image and icon handling
- Support for online PDFs where available

Choose how precisely Night Eye should apply your preferences within a website.

Custom Mode for Each Page

For example, one page can remain in Normal Mode while another page on the same website uses Dark Mode or your preferred filters.
How to customize a page
- Visit the website you want to configure.
- Open Night Eye and select Customize Pages.
- Add the page you want to manage individually.
- Refresh the page and select its preferred mode or filters.
Apply Settings to Subdomains

Example: Tumblr
If Subdomain Settings is turned off, Night Eye can apply Dark Mode to tumblr.com while a subdomain such as blogname.tumblr.com remains in Normal Mode.
If Subdomain Settings is turned on, the settings applied to tumblr.com are also applied automatically to its subdomains.
